Job summary

Managed Labour Hire – Christchurch is seeking Class 5 Truck Drivers with civil experience to cart bulk materials on Canterbury civil sites. Immediate start; must have civil tipping and carting experience and NZ work rights.

We offer steady work with quality clients and a competitive hourly rate. You will operate tipper and trailer units, working around active earthworks with a focus on safety and load security.

Qualifications

• Full Class 5 licence required.
• Civil driving experience – tipping and carting bulk materials on site.
• Confident and safe tipping loads.
• Experience on active civil/earthworks sites.
• Sound understanding of load security and site health & safety.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Willing to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Cart bulk materials to and from civil sites.
• Operate tipper and truck-and-trailer units.
• Tipping loads safely and accurately on site.
• Work on and around active earthworks and civil sites.
• Coordinate with loader and excavator operators loading you out.
