Job summary

Tātaki Auckland Unlimited seeks an experienced City Centre Graphic Designer and Planner to join our Brand and Creative team. This fixed-term role blends hands-on design with client liaison, project leadership and studio workflow management to enhance Auckland’s city centre visibility.

You will work with city centre marketing teams across channels—out-of-home, digital, signage, events, publications and collateral—driving high-quality outcomes while maintaining brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Seven years' or more relevant experience delivering high-quality graphic design and creative solutions.
• Experience managing client relationships from brief to delivery.
• Strong ability to plan and organise production and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design for high-profile city centre campaigns and experiences.
• Own projects from brief to delivery, balancing creativity, brand and impact.
• Collaborate within a small in-house Brand and Creative team.
• Lead briefs, manage studio workflow, and liaise with clients and freelancers.
