Job summary

The Warehouse Canterbury is seeking Nightfill Team Members to keep shelves stocked, displays built, and the store ready for the festive rush. You’ll help ensure a seamless shopping experience and maintain a tidy, well-stocked store each morning.

Hours are generally 7:00pm–12:00am, expanding to 8:00pm–2:00am in December. This fixed-term opportunity runs mid-September to mid-January, with potential for extra shifts and ongoing training. Right to work in NZ required.

This is Warehouse Country, and Christmas is our biggest season of the year. Since 1982, The Warehouse has played an important role in everyday Kiwi life. Every Christmas, millions of Kiwis head to their local red shed store for gifts, decorations, toys and festive essentials. Behind every great Christmas shop is a team making it happen, and we're looking for Nightfill Team Members to help keep our stores stocked, organised and ready for the festive rush. Whether you're looking for extra income, your first job, or a stepping-stone to a bigger career, this could be the perfect opportunity. Many of our seasonal team members go on to build long-term careers within The Warehouse Group or careers in retail. Fixed-term opportunities are available from mid-September through to mid-November, with employment continuing until around mid-January.

Job Description

As a Nightfill Team Member, you'll help ensure our store is ready for another busy day in Warehouse Country.

Working behind the scenes, you'll be responsible for unpacking stock, replenishing shelves, building displays, and making sure the store looks its best before the doors open each morning.

Your work plays a key role in creating a seamless shopping experience for our customers, helping them find everything they need to make Christmas special.

The hours of work for this position are generally between 7.00pm and 12.00am, and in December they are generally between 8.00pm and 2.00am. You will need to be available throughout the holiday period and be flexible with hours and days of work. Please note: if you are required to work past 10pm, you must be above 16 years of age.
