Job summary

Bed Bath N' Table in New Zealand is recruiting enthusiastic Christmas Helpers to join us this season and help customers create magical moments in their homes.

You will assist with festive displays, provide engaging POS service, unpack and replenish stock, and support visual merchandising to keep stores shining.

Applicants should be customer-focused, adaptable, and available during peak trading from 14 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and adaptable in a busy retail environment.
• Able to work as part of a team and jump in where needed.
• Clear communication at the point of sale.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging point-of-sale service to customers.
• Assist with unpacking and replenishing stock during shifts.

Successful Christmas Helpers will be customer-focused, adaptable and thrive in a busy retail environment. They will enjoy working as part of a team and be ready to jump in wherever they are needed most.

They will:

• Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, a love of beautiful homewares and all things Christmas.
• Bring positive energy, confidence and a can-do attitude to every shift.
• Provide engaging and efficient point-of-sale service.
• Assist with operational tasks such as unpacking and replenishing stock and supporting visual merchandising to keep our stores looking their absolute best.
• Have strong availability throughout the Christmas season and be available to work during our peak trading period from 14 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, including weekends and evenings.

Candidates with extensive availability across the festive trading period, including peak trading days such as Boxing Day, will be highly regarded.
