Job summary

Access Community Health in Upper Hutt is recruiting for a Christmas Casual Support Worker. You will provide in‑home support to tāngata, focusing on safety, respect, and culturally safe care. Training is provided, with flexible hours including weekends.

• Your role is to provide safe, respectful, person-centered support in people’s homes, including being mindful of what matters to them, their culture, values, beliefs, routines, and boundaries.
• You’ll support tāngata with their individual care needs and daily living activities. No qualifications or prior experience are required.

• This role offers flexible hours, plenty of weekend shifts ($1.00 extra per hour), and the chance to gain valuable experience in the health and wellbeing sector.
• Paid travel time and mileage —When you travel for work, we make sure you’re compensated fairly — including paid travel time and mileage for longer trips. Full details will be shared during onboarding.
• Shifts available from 7am - 12pm or 4pm - 8pm
