Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar role in hotel/high-volume hospitality.
  • Knowledge of modern food trends, dietary requirements and allergen management.
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining consistency, quality and presentation standards.
  • Knowledge of seafood/meat processing, cooked food processing, storage and receiving standards.
  • Positive, collaborative approach and ability to work as part of a diverse kitchen team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare great tasting dishes according to standard recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Supervise line cooks to support smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Ensure proper storage, stock rotation and ingredient quality.
  • Assist with cost management and improving gross margins.
  • Inspire and develop team members, coach and foster a positive work environment.
  • Uphold health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations to ensure guest and team well-being.
