Job summary

Kindercare Learning Centres Ltd in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Cook to join our daytime kitchen team. You will prepare vegetarian meals for around 88 children daily, ensure dietary needs are met, and manage ordering within budget. The role runs Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is required and a police vet will be conducted. We offer a stable, supportive workplace with opportunities for professional development and a focus on wellbeing for staff

The position:

Fulltime, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week from 7.30am - 4pm)

Preparing and cooking vegetarian meals for approximately 88 tamariki each day

Ability to cater for dietary and allergy requirements is essential for this role

Responsible for ordering, and working within a budget

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite

Kindercare police vet all potential employees
