AMX is launching in New Zealand with our first stores opening soon. As a Casual Sales Assistant, you will help deliver an outstanding customer experience from day one.

If you’re passionate about motorcycles, enjoy helping customers, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we’d love to hear from you. Full training will be provided and you’ll join a supportive team.

We’re looking for friendly, motivated Casual Sales Assistants to help deliver an outstanding customer experience from day one. If you’re passionate about motorcycles, enjoy helping customers and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role:

At AMX we want to ensure that each customer has a great experience in store and as aSales Assistantyour key focus is to ensure this. This starts from the moment the customer walks in the door, to providing guidance around our products and ensuring they find what they need, upselling where you can and processing the sale at the till.

Duties include:

• Always have asafety focusto ensure your safety, and that of your teammates & customers
• Provide genuine service & create moments that matter with customers
• Use your strong customer service to contribute to positive sales performance
• Maintain exceptional showroom presentation & merchandising standards
• Process stock; receive, dispatch & store
• Be an enthusiastic, cooperative & collaborative team member, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Skills & Experience

This is a very customer focusedposition,soyou'llnaturally be a people person and a passionate customer service expert, ideally withpreviousretailand/or customer service experience. To be considered for this position, please tell us in your application about your interest in, knowledge of, or passion for motorcycles and the motorcycle industry.

Full training will be given on the products we sell, however having a passion for the motorcycle industry is an advantage. But if customer service is your passion and where you thrive, we like that sound of that too! You must be confident working in aretail/sales environment and dealing with a variety of customers. Yourstrong communicationskills and excellent phone manner will be complimented by your team-focused and 'can do' attitude.
