Job summary

Metlifecare is seeking casual cleaners to join the MetFlex casual team across our retirement villages in Northland, Whangārei. The role offers flexible shifts that fit around your life while making a real difference to residents and teams.

You’ll help keep villages and care homes clean, safe, and welcoming. Cleaning or laundry experience is beneficial, but we can train you and help you grow within the MetFlex network.

About the role

Our cleaners play an important part in creating clean, welcoming and comfortable spaces for our residents, guests and teams.

You’ll help keep our villages and care homes looking their best, with tasks including:

• Cleaning communal areas and resident units
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Following Health & Safety procedures
• Building positive relationships with residents and colleagues

This role is ideal if you're hands-on, take pride in your work and enjoy seeing the difference you make.

About you

You’ll bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and pride in doing a great job. Cleaning or laundry experience is beneficial, but we can help you learn and develop.

Most importantly, you’ll be reliable, respectful and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
