Job summary

Ritchies Transport Holdings in Hamilton is seeking confident Charter Drivers on a casual charter basis to meet growing demand for tours and charters. You must hold a NZ Class 4 licence (minimum) and be able to work weekends and travel as required.

You’ll join a team focused on reliable service and supporting New Zealand’s tourism industry. You should be enthusiastic, customer-focused and comfortable working away from home for tour durations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver commentary.
• NZ Class 4 license (minimum) required.

Responsibilities

• Drive charter tours and charters on a casual basis.
• Provide clear and engaging commentary to passengers.
• Represent Ritchies professionally and support tourism goals.

We are looking for confident Charter Drivers to join our Hamilton based team on a casual charter basis. With an increase is charter work, we’re expanding our crew to meet the demand for tours and charters.

If you hold a Class 4 licence (minimum) and have excellent communication skills, we’d love to have you on board. You’ll be an important part of your community and play a key role in supporting New Zealand’s tourism industry.

Team Ritchies

Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country.
We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

Your Skills

• Great communicator and capable of delivering commentary
• Physically capable of lifting up to 20kgs
• NZ Class 4 license (minimum)
