Job summary

Digitalgarage is building a brand-new Business Analyst team to shape how a Kiwi tech success story scales across the world stage with the D365 F&O platform.

As the go-to ERP BA, you’ll bridge finance, operations, supply chain, sales and IT; map business processes; translate complex requirements into functional designs; and drive platform improvements across billing, AR, invoicing, inventory, and HR.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Deep understanding of Finance, AR, and Billing modules.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Advanced Warehousing is a plus.
• Proven track record delivering platform enhancements and business process improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as the resident subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Manage the full delivery lifecycle from discovery to implementation.
• Partner with Finance and Operations to optimise billing, AR, and financial workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements and coordinate UAT.
• Support business adoption, training, and continuous improvement initiatives across the platform.

Your Role

As the go-to ERP Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between finance, operations, supply chain, sales, and IT, ensuring the D365 F&O platform is perfectly tuned to support commercial goals. You'll take a hands-on approach to mapping out business processes, translating complex requirements into functional designs, and driving system improvements across billing and revenue, supply chain, inventory management, advanced warehousing and HR.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the resident subject matter expert for all things Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Managing the full delivery lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements gathering right through to implementation.
• Partnering with Finance and Operations teams to uncover bottlenecks and optimise billing, AR, and financial workflows.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality system enhancements and coordinate smooth UAT.
• Supporting business adoption, training, and continuous improvement initiatives across the wider platform.

Your Fit

You are a proactive, solution-focused Business Analyst who loves diving into the detail but never loses sight of the bigger commercial picture. You know how to talk to accountants, developers, and salespeople alike, translating technical jargon into plain English.

Ideally, you will bring

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• A deep understanding of Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Billing modules.
• Ideally some experience and understanding of Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Advanced Warehousing modules.
• A proven track record of delivering tangible platform enhancements and business process improvements.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills and a natural ability to build trust across teams.
