Job summary

Alignerr is seeking MBA-versed professionals to design and judge advanced business problems for AI training. You'll craft complex case studies, perform DCF valuation, market-entry analysis, and build executive-ready rationales.

Ideal candidates have an MBA and strong grounding in finance and strategic management, with the ability to translate data into concise executive summaries. This is a remote, hourly contract offering flexible hours.

Qualifications

• MBA required with deep business acumen in two or more domains: Finance, Marketing, Operations or Strategy.
• Ability to craft complex case studies, quantitative problems and executive-level rationales.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in financial formulas.

Responsibilities

• Design Complex Business Challenges — Craft advanced case studies and quantitative problems spanning DCF valuation, market entry strategy, supply chain bottlenecks, cap table modeling, and more
• Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses with financial statements and strategic frameworks for AI training
• Audit AI-Generated Business Content — Evaluate plans, forecasts and analyses for consistency and accuracy
• Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify and document flaws in AI reasoning and provide actionable feedback
• Work Independently and Asynchronously — Complete task-based assignments on your own schedule

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just deep business acumen, sharp analytical thinking, and a commitment to intellectual rigor.

What You'll Do

• Design Complex Business Challenges — Craft advanced case studies and quantitative problems spanning DCF valuation, market entry strategy, supply chain bottlenecks, cap table modeling, and more
• Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses — including financial statements, strategic frameworks (4Ps, Porter's Five Forces, 5Cs), and executive-level rationales — that serve as the benchmark for AI training
• Audit AI-Generated Business Content — Evaluate AI-produced business plans, financial forecasts, and case analyses for logical consistency, mathematical accuracy, and adherence to professional standards
• Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify and document flaws in AI reasoning, such as ignoring sunk costs, miscalculating WACC, or failing to account for macroeconomic variables, and provide structured, actionable feedback
• Work Independently and Asynchronously — Complete task-based assignments on your own schedule, at your own pace

Who You Are

• Holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution
• Strong foundational expertise in at least two core business domains: Finance, Marketing, Operations, or Strategic Management
• Able to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-style summaries and professional recommendations
• Highly precise when reviewing financial formulas, data interpretation, and the structural integrity of business arguments
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
• Background in data annotation, data quality, or content evaluation workflows
• Proficiency in data-driven decision tools such as Excel modeling, Tableau, or SQL
• Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation as an end user
