Job summary

Health New Zealand |TeWhatu Ora is inviting applications for a Health Assistant in the Breast Imaging Service at Manukau Health Park. You will support ultrasound, biopsies and clinic activities, ensuring patient flow and safety.

Work with Radiologists, technologists, nurses and staff to deliver respectful, efficient care and maintain clean, well-stocked rooms. Prior experience in health care and an interest in women's health are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Health Assistant with a Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a community or health care service.
• Interest or experience in women’s health.

Responsibilities

• Assist during ultrasound, biopsies and other Breast Clinic activities.
• Maintain smooth patient and clinic flow and provide practical/administrative support.
• Prepare ultrasound/mammography rooms and assist with procedures; chaperone and ensure cleanliness and infection prevention.
