Job summary

Pact Group Holdings Ltd in Christchurch is seeking a Plastics Technician Die Setter–Blowmoulding to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. You will perform die changes, optimise blowmoulding processes and train staff to uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Plastics Technician/Die Setter in blowmoulding.
• Trade qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform die and mould changeovers, set up blowmoulding machines, adjust parameters to maximise uptime.
• Monitor production quality with start-up checks and inspections; adjust processes to meet specs.
• Troubleshoot machinery, tooling, and processes; carry out preventative maintenance.
• Optimise material usage, cycle times and processes to reduce waste and boost productivity.
• Maintain production records, process setting sheets and quality checks.
• Train operators and promote safe, compliant, high-performing workplace.
