Job summary

Avani Queenstown Hotel, part of Minor Hotels, is seeking enthusiastic bartenders and F&B attendants for flexible part-time and full-time roles. You will mix cocktails, deliver bar and floor service, and help create memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Candidates should have prior bartending or F&B experience, strong cocktail knowledge, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work across shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending and/or food & beverage service.
• Strong product knowledge and confidence preparing classic cocktails.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and professional attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer and wine.
• Provide attentive food and beverage service, including taking orders and delivering meals.
• Deliver professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests.
• Recommend menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain clean, stocked and organised bar and service areas.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless service.
• Contribute to a positive and professional team environment.
• Comply with all health, hygiene and WHS standards.
