Job summary

voco Queenstown, part of EVT Connect Hospitality, is seeking a bartender to deliver memorable guest experiences in a premium hotel setting. You will join a motivated F&B team, bringing passion for food, wine, and service.

As a bartender you will greet and seat guests, maintain a welcoming bar, share information about facilities, and adapt to dietary needs while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service in hospitality is preferred.
• Proficient mixology skills essential.
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude and strong communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule.

As a Bartender you will help in creating an exciting, innovative, and memorable dining experience for all guests whilst working with a well-rounded and highly motivated F&B team. You have a passion for all things hospitality and love making genuine human connections and contributing to awesome guest experiences. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and exceptional experience while maintaining a professional and friendly presence at our outlets at all time.

What You’ll Do

• Passion for all things food, wine and service.

• Assist other departments as required.

About You

• Previous guest service experience preferred (hotel, concierge, or customer service roles advantageous)
• Mixology skills are essential.
• Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically capable of handling luggage and manual tasks
• Reliable, well-presented, and punctual
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and public holidays
