Job summary

Accenture PLC in Wellington, New Zealand, is looking for a security consultant to lead Azure and Microsoft 365 security projects for clients. You will provide expert guidance, translate customer requirements into secure architectures, and deliver high-quality reports to senior stakeholders.

The role includes running customer meetings, managing expectations, and collaborating with teams to ensure successful project delivery, IP development, and ongoing customer engagement across diverse accounts.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 certifications.
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 Security Services including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview/Information Protection, Entra & Identity Governance, Modern Endpoint Management, Azure Cloud Platforms, Azure App Development, Azure DevOps/DevSecOps, Terraform.
  • Exposure to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well Architected Framework (WAF) is advantageous.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Consulting role, ideally in a global consulting firm or large technology company, supporting projects across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the very best subject matter expertise and advice to our customers.
  • Work through customer specifications and develop solutions in line with defined requirements.
  • Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior customer stakeholders.
  • Conduct customer meetings and workshops.
  • Manage customer expectations, communicate effectively, and develop professional relationships with customers.
  • Work closely with team to ensure project delivery meet customer expectations.
  • Be involved in IP development and repeatability.
  • Facilitate communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with a diverse range of customers, and identify and explore opportunities within existing and new customers.
