Job summary

DXC Technology NZ in Wellington seeks an experienced Forward Deployed Azure Architect to translate government and regulated-industry needs into secure, enterprise Azure solutions that meet data sovereignty and resilience requirements.

Embedded with client and DXC delivery teams, you will lead migrations and architecture decisions, design landing zones, govern cloud foundations, and mentor engineers toward repeatable patterns.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise cloud design and governance experience.
• Delivery of large-scale Azure migration programs.
• Experience implementing Azure Landing Zones in complex environments.
• Strong security, privacy, availability, performance knowledge.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Frame high-value problems with customer leaders and shape cloud strategy.
• Lead migration discovery, assessment, and wave planning.
• Design enterprise Landing Zones with identity, networking, policy, logging.
• Govern migrations into NZ sovereign Azure region with data residency.
• Mentor architects and engineers; contribute reusable patterns.
• Lead executive workshops and present recommendations to boards.
