Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking an experienced automotive technician for a franchise dealership in New Plymouth, New Zealand. This full-time permanent role offers an excellent remuneration of $33 to $38 per hour based on skills and experience. Key responsibilities include servicing, mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and training apprentices. Ideal candidates should possess a relevant automotive trade qualification and solid diagnostic skills, with experience on European or Asian vehicles preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience on prestige European vehicles or Asian brands preferred.
• Clean driver's license required.
• Experience in training apprentices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repair work on light passenger vehicles.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• Manage parts ordering and engine work.
