Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment partners with a well-established New Zealand manufacturer to recruit a Manufacturing Technician for their Ashburton operation. This hands-on role focuses on keeping highly automated production equipment running efficiently to meet quality standards and customer demand.

You’ll be involved in machine setup, changeovers, tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to develop specialist skills within a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn specialised manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setups and product changeovers.
• Change moulds and tooling on production equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Make machine and process adjustments to improve efficiency and uptime.
• Assist with new technology and automation projects.
