Pacific Tourways Auckland, part of the Tranzit Group, is seeking a Tour Driver for the Auckland Explorer service. You will operate open-top double decker buses on Auckland City routes, delivering excellent passenger experiences and ensuring safety, with shifts on a rolling roster.

The role values strong communication, a positive attitude, and comfort with using a commentary app. Permanent and seasonal work options are available, with uniform supplied and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Aotearoa and confident talking to a range people.
• Hold a class 4 license with passenger (P) endorsement.
• Previous tourism experience is a bonus.
• A positive outlook and a great attitude.
• Tech savvy!

Responsibilities

• Drive tourists to destinations across Auckland City.
• Provide pleasant service and engaging commentary when possible.

About the role

Pacific Tourways Auckland is recognised as one of New Zealand's leading tour coach operator. We are teaming up with Entrada Group to deliver the Auckland Explorer Bus sightseeing service in Auckland City.
This is a great opportunity for us to expand in our already successful tourism sector and we want to bring you along for the ride!

The Auckland Explorer operates open top double decker buses 7 days a week, 364 days per year. Hours of operation are from 8am until 6.30pm, no late nights! Shift hours vary and will be on a rolling roster.

This is a hop on hop off service, your role will be to get our passengers to where they need to go across Auckland City, while providing pleasant service. Our buses are equipped with a commentary system that is powered by an App.

To be successful you will have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Knowledge of Aotearoa and confident talking to a range people,
• Hold a class 4 license with passenger (P) endorsement,
• Previous tourism experience is a bonus,
• A positive outlook and a great attitude,
• Tech savvy!
