KPMG New Zealand is seeking an experienced Workday Finance Lead at Senior Manager or Associate Director level to drive complex finance transformations. You will lead the end-to-end Workday Finance stream, translate business objectives into scalable designs and run executive workshops with clients across Aotearoa New Zealand.

You will oversee module leads, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and shape the future-state finance vision within an integrated technology solution.

• KPMG New Zealand is growing its Workday Practice and is looking for an experienced Workday Finance Lead at Senior Manager or Associate Director level to lead complex, business-led finance transformations.
• This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who can combine finance transformation, operating model and Workday expertise—shaping strategic outcomes, leading multidisciplinary teams and connecting the future-state finance vision with an integrated technology solution.
• You will work with clients across Aotearoa New Zealand and the wider region, supported by KPMG’s local consulting team and global Workday network.
• You will have the opportunity to influence our market offering, build capability and contribute to the continued growth of our Workday business.
• Lead the end-to-end Workday Finance stream, with module leads reporting directly to you, and set the direction for the integrated Financial Management solution.
• Translate business objectives into scalable Workday designs and lead executive workshops to evaluate options, resolve trade-offs and secure decisions.
• Coordinate functional, data, integration, security, testing, change and deployment dependencies while managing quality, scope, risks, commercials and executive reporting.
• Build KPMG’s Workday Finance capability through team leadership, coaching, recruitment, market development and reusable assets.
• Experience leading an end-to-end Workday Finance stream, including managing module leads, plans, deliverables and cross-stream dependencies.
• Deep expertise across one or more Workday Financial Management areas, with the ability to translate finance, control, reporting and operating model requirements into scalable designs.
• Strong client and delivery leadership, including executive workshops, design governance, quality assurance, risk management and coaching Workday consultants.
• Relevant Workday Financial Management certifications and consulting experience in complex environments are preferred; solutioning and proposal experience is advantageous.
