At Dental Care Centre we love what we do and we are currently looking for an experienced Dentist to join our established team. We are a busy practice, who pride ourselves on delivering quality dentistry in a relaxed and friendly environment. Good communications skills and an empathetic approach to the delivery of your dental service is a must.

We have an established patient base and a high volume of bookings to keep you busy. There is plenty of scope to earn a great salary (£75,000+) and the opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

Our Dentists undertake a full scope of Private Dentistry (including RCT, direct restoration, crown and bridge, oral surgery, orthodontics and implants) so there is always plenty of diverse work and interesting cases. The practice has been recently renovated and is well equipped with modern chairs and digital technology. We have an experienced and supportive team and a fabulous team culture. Our support staff are well trained which further contributes to a happy and well organised work place.

Life in Gisborne is all about achieving a work life balance - all our Dentists work a 4 day week however hours are negotiable. There are no late nights or weekend work required which leaves you free to explore the Gisborne region and the rest of New Zealand.

Gisborne itself is a friendly provincial town with a warm and sunny climate. We have stunning beaches and great outdoor activities, hiking, surfing, fishing, diving, horse riding etc. The town itself has good cafes and restaurants, award winning wineries and breweries and a vibrant farmers market. The local airport provides easy and convenient flights to the rest of the country.

The successful candidate needs to

• have excellent clinical skills and experience in the full scope of general dental practice (3 years +)
• have a recognised dental qualification that enables registration with the New Zealand Dental Council (BDS or similar)
• be a team player who enjoys working in a positive and collaborative environment
• be someone who loves building relationships and communicating with patients.
