Job summary

Bethlehem College is seeking an accomplished and relational educational leader to join our Secondary Leadership Team and help shape the continued growth of high-quality, biblically based teaching and learning.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who wishes to extend their senior leadership experience within a supportive, highly collaborative Christian environment. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who have strong leadership experience and leading teams through change.

The successful applicant will bring strong pedagogical knowledge and a demonstrated ability to grow the practice, confidence, and leadership capability of others. Initial areas of focus are likely to include the leadership of classroom practice; professional growth through observation, feedback, and coaching; staff induction; and the development of student teachers. The role will also contribute to curriculum leadership, community engagement, assemblies, and the wider life of the Secondary School.

Teaching and learning at Bethlehem College is led collaboratively. The successful applicant will work in partnership with another experienced leader in this area and alongside the Head of Secondary, Heads of Department, and the wider Secondary Leadership Team. Responsibilities will be complementary and shaped around the strengths of the successful applicant and the evolving needs of the College.
