Job summary

Wakatipu High School in Queenstown is seeking an Assistant Head of Maths to lead and shape the maths learning program within a collaborative, forward-thinking learning area. The role focuses on delivering future-focused, holistic education and building strong student relationships in a vibrant school community.

The successful candidate will deliver the NZ Curriculum, teach Mathematics and/or Statistics at senior levels, and contribute to NZ Scholarship teaching initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering the New Zealand Curriculum.
• Ability to teach Mathematics and/or Statistics at senior levels.
• NZ Scholarship teaching background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Maths department as Assistant Head of Maths.
• Deliver a future-focused and holistic education for learners.
• Contribute to the all-round education of students and build strong relationships.
