Wakatipu High School - 374 is seeking an Assistant Head of Learning Area Mathematics and Statistics to lead and advance the Mathematics and Statistics Learning Area for 2027. The role includes 1 PMU, 1 PMMA plus 1 Fixed Term MMA and 1 Fixed Term RRR, supporting curriculum refresh and the Foundational Award.

The successful candidate will be experienced in delivering the NZ Curriculum and capable of teaching Mathematics and/or Statistics at senior levels, with NZ Scholarship teaching experience

Formación

• Ability to teach Mathematics and/or Statistics at senior levels.
• Background in NZ Scholarship teaching preferred.

The successful applicant will have experience delivering the New Zealand Curriculum, along with the ability to teach Mathematics and/or Statistics at senior levels; a background in NZ Scholarship teaching is preferred.

This appointment includes 1 fixed term RRR for 2027 (equivalent to $4000), plus 1 fixed term MMA to support with the implementation of the refreshed curriculum and Foundational Award.

Wakatipu High School is a well-resourced, co-educational school with a growing roll of more than 1600 students, situated in Queenstown in the stunning Wakatipu Basin.
