Southland Girls’ High School seeks an experienced assistant head of English (2MU) to join our high-performing English department in a permanent, full-time position starting term 1, 2027.

The successful applicant will lead the English department, deliver high-quality English programmes, and support student success within a vibrant girls’ school in Invercargill. You’ll work with colleagues to inspire students and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

• Experienced secondary English teacher with strong knowledge of the New Zealand English Curriculum.
• Proven leadership potential or middle leadership experience.
