Qualifications

• Commitment to a 4 year apprenticeship with on-the-job training and block theory.
• Certifications required: either Cert III in Elevating Work Platforms or Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology.
• Strong communication and listening skills; ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliable and mature.

Responsibilities

• Assist Workshop Technicians with daily workshop duties and pre-delivery of machines.
• Support inspection, testing, repairs and modifications of electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Conduct three monthly and annual inspections as part of ANZ/Australian standards.
• Perform sanding, painting and general trade assistant tasks as required.
• Ensure safety policies and site instructions are followed.
