Job summary

The Warehouse Group is hiring an Apparel Team Member for The Warehouse, Eastgate, on a part-time basis. You will assist customers, keep displays attractive, and arrange merchandise to maintain department visual appeal.

Hours include Sundays 8am-5pm and Mondays 8am-4pm. No prior retail experience required, but good communication and a positive attitude help. Lifting and standing for long periods are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial but not required.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and undertaking some heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with queries and purchases.
• Maintain visual appeal by creating attractive displays.
• Organise merchandise and fill gaps as needed to keep the department well-stocked.

The Purpose of the Role

We have a permanent part-time position available with the following hours of work:

• Sunday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Monday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Our Apparel department is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for fashion and a commitment to exceptional customer service to join our team! In this role, you will assist customers with their queries, ensure the department maintains visual appeal by creating attractive displays, and arrange merchandise effectively.

Leveraging your knowledge of the department's layout, you will ensure that any gaps are promptly filled with the appropriate products.

About You

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial, but it's not a requirement. Ideally you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and undertaking some heavy lifting.
