Auckland City Mission – Te Tāpui Atawhai is seeking an AOD Practitioner – Ringa Riwha to join the James Liston Hostel team in Auckland Central. The role blends clinical AOD expertise with service development to deliver culturally grounded, evidence-based care for whānau in transitional housing.
The successful candidate will support healing, trauma-informed practices and inter-agency collaboration, aligning with Mission values and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
The AOD Practitioner – Ringa Riwha plays a pivotal role in the James Liston Hostel team, supporting whānau who use alcohol and other Drug (AOD) in a Transitional housing setting. This role combines clinical expertise with service development to ensure the delivery of responsive, evidence-based, and culturally grounded care. The Practitioner will champion healing, transformation, trauma-informed care, and service integration, contributing to a model that is fit for purpose and aligned with The Missions Values and upholds Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
