Job summary

LTM Australia/New Zealand is seeking an experienced AI Azure Solution Architect to lead design and delivery of enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will partner with customers, architects, and engineering teams to deploy scalable AI platforms and govern production deployments.

With 10+ years in enterprise tech and 5+ years on Azure, you will guide teams, fine-tune LLMs, and drive AI opportunities across large transformations in ANZ.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering enterprise technology solutions.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering Generative AI and Azure AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Lead the implementation of Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services.
• Design scalable cloud-native AI architectures using Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Guide engineering teams on AI best practices, architecture patterns and solution delivery.
• Fine-tune and customise Large Language Models (LLMs) for enterprise use cases.
• Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and Cognitive Search.
• Develop Prompt Engineering strategies to optimise AI model performance.
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Build AI-powered document processing solutions using Azure AI Document Intelligence (formerly Form Recognizer).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate AI opportunities into enterprise solutions.
• Deliver customer workshops, technical demonstrations and AI enablement sessions.
• Produce high-quality architecture documentation and executive solution presentations.

The Opportunity

As an AI Azure Solution Architect, you'll partner with customers, architects and engineering teams to design scalable AI platforms that solve complex business challenges.

You'll provide technical leadership across the full AI lifecycle - solution architecture and model deployment through to production governance and customer enablement.

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years' experience delivering enterprise technology solutions.
• At least 5 years' hands-on experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering Generative AI and Azure AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Prompt Engineering
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Vector Databases
• Experience deploying, fine-tuning and optimising AI models.
• Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and influence architecture decisions across enterprise programs.

Highly Desirable

• MLOps and LLMOps experience.
• Databricks and Mosaic AI.
• AI governance, responsible AI and model lifecycle management.

Certifications

We're particularly interested in candidates with one or more of the following:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
