Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is seeking a Programme Assistant for an after-school programme in Wellington. You will support tamariki with homework and learning activities, lead engaging arts, crafts, sports, and STEM projects, and work with the Programme Manager to keep sessions running smoothly.

The role offers a minimum of 6 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential additional hours during school holiday programmes. No weekend work and a supportive team culture are highlighted.

Qualifications

Support tamariki in a safe, inclusive environment.
Assist children with homework and learning activities.
Deliver engaging activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, STEM, baking.
Work with the Programme Manager to ensure sessions run smoothly.
Build positive relationships with children, families and school staff.

Responsibilities
