Job summary

Ministry of Health (Manatū Hauora) seeks an Advisor to bring the Ministry's work to life through clear, engaging communications. You will craft content for media, digital and social channels, and work with diverse teams and stakeholders to inform, connect and build trust.

You'll develop communications, provide insights, manage priorities, and help protect and enhance the Ministry's reputation. This permanent, Wellington-based role offers opportunities for impact and professional growth.

As an Advisor, you'll help bring the Ministry's work to life through clear, engaging, and impactful communications. Working across teams and with a wide range of stakeholders, you'll craft content that informs, connects, and builds trust, while helping protect and enhance the Ministry's reputation. From developing communications and media content to providing insights and managing competing priorities, you'll play a key role in ensuring New Zealanders understand the value and impact of the Ministry's work.

• Create compelling content across media, digital and social channels
• Deliver proactive communications that tell the Ministry's story
• Monitor public, stakeholder and media sentiment to identify risks and opportunities
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
