About the Role
- Reporting to the Associate Director, the incumbent will support the academic and programme management functions of the unit. The incumbent will provide efficient and effective administrative, logistical, and coordination support to ensure the smooth delivery of academic programmes and short courses
- This role is offered on a six‑month, fixed‑term contract basis
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desktop research to scope out opportunities related to projects that the team is working on.
- Administrative support for planning and management of short courses, including preparing teaching engagement contracts, client contracts, programme schedules and info packs.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders such as faculty, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely communication of course content, materials, and any changes.
- Support the programme delivery team in planning and delivery of short courses for professionals and pre‑university students.
- Assist in other ad hoc projects, assigned by supervisor/HOD.
Requirements
Education
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or higher
Experience and Skills
- Prior events/conference management experience would be a plus.
- Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills with a positive work attitude.
- IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications. Excellent coordination and organization skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Strong team player who is meticulous, resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented and ambiguous work environment
