Job summary

HEART Collective in Hamilton seeks an ACC Registered Counsellor for a part-time role (25 hours). You will support ACC Sensitive Claims clients within a trauma-informed team, manage referrals and documentation, and contribute to case management. Flexible after-hours may be required.

Ideal candidates are NZAC/NZPB registered with 2+ years' ACC experience, strong trauma skills, and proficiency with Word, email, and CMS. Attractive rates and immediate sick leave accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with the ACC Sensitive Claims service.
• Hamilton-based location.
• Registered with NZAC, NZPB, or similar.
• Skilled in trauma work (including complex and sexual abuse cases).
• Confident with Word, email, and document uploads.
• Organised, responsive, and process-driven.
• Team player with open communication and collaboration.
• Flexible for after hours.

Responsibilities

• Support ACC Sensitive Claims processes and clients.
• Collaborate with a trauma-informed team to deliver care.
• Assist with referrals, case management, and admin tasks.
• Maintain patient records in the CMS.
• Engage in ACC process guidance and compliance.
