Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Yard Hand to keep the depot safe and efficient for DNAP operations. You will operate a telehandler, receive deliveries and load Mobile Processing Units with product, while maintaining clean and organized yard facilities.

The role is on a 15/13 FIFO roster from Perth, with a clear path to progress toward MPU Operator in the future. You must be committed to safety and inclusivity, hold a HR licence (or obtain within three months), have a National Police Clearance, Dangerous

Qualifications

• HR licence with manual synchromesh knowledge or ability to obtain within three months
• National Police Clearance is essential
• Dangerous Goods Security Card or pending application
• Forklift licence and Telehandler experience are required

Responsibilities

• Maintain depot safety and efficiency on a day-to-day basis
• Operate a telehandler to move loads and assist in loading MPU units
• Receive deliveries and ensure correct handling and storage of materials
• Perform general housekeeping of the depot and yard
• Support DNAP operations and liaise with crew and management

The Role

As part of our surface operations team, our Yard Hand will ensure that the depot is maintained safely, efficiently for DNAP operations. The Yard Hand operates a telehandler, receives deliveries, loads the Mobile Processing Units with product and do general housekeeping of the depot and yard – Emulsion Storage Transfer (wet product).

You will ensure that the depot is maintained safely and efficiently and assist in duties to provide support for DNAP operations.

Working an 15/13 off roster (FIFO from Perth), you will operate a telehandler and in a safe and efficient manner, please note this role requires you to be ready to wear a dust mask.

You will interact regularly with the crew, customers, and management. These interactions are not just frequent but essential for ensuring smooth operations and achieving broader business goals.
