Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Website & Lifecycle Marketing Lead based in Norway.

As Website & Lifecycle Marketing Lead, you will own the digital experience that turns visitors into customers and first-time buyers into loyal, repeat customers. You will lead website optimization, lifecycle marketing, email communication, and brand positioning across multiple product lines. Working closely with leadership, product, design, engineering, and marketing teams, you will translate customer insights into compelling messaging and measurable business outcomes. You will have the autonomy to shape strategy, experiment with new ideas, and implement improvements from concept to execution. In a fast-paced, fully remote environment, your work will directly influence conversion rates, customer retention, and recurring revenue. This is an opportunity for a hands-on marketing leader who combines analytical thinking, persuasive copywriting, and a strong sense of ownership to drive meaningful growth.

Accountabilities
  • Website Strategy and Conversion Optimization: Own the structure, messaging, and conversion performance of the website and key product pages. Develop and execute A/B tests, collaborate with design and engineering teams, and implement improvements that increase conversion rates.

  • Lifecycle Marketing: Design and optimize end-to-end customer journeys, including onboarding, reorder triggers, retention campaigns, win-back initiatives, and repeat-purchase flows. Partner with the Head of Marketing to drive recurring revenue and customer lifetime value.

  • Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear, differentiated positioning for each product line and customer segment. Maintain a consistent source of truth for messaging across the website, advertising, sales materials, and AI-powered sales tools.

  • Email Marketing: Plan, write, launch, and optimize lifecycle and marketing email campaigns that support customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.

  • Customer Research and Insights: Gather insights from sales calls, customer conversations, and reviews, translating them into stronger messaging, improved web pages, and actionable experimentation opportunities.

  • Performance Measurement and Reporting: Track and analyze business-critical metrics, including conversion rates, repeat revenue, repeat order value, and CRM performance. Use data to prioritize initiatives and demonstrate measurable impact.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership and relevant teams to influence product direction, improve customer workflows, and align marketing execution with broader business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Professional Experience: At least 4 years of experience in B2B or e-commerce marketing, with hands-on ownership of website conversion optimization, messaging, lifecycle marketing, or email programs.

  • Customer-Centric Copywriting: Demonstrated ability to create effective copy and landing pages grounded in customer research, market insights, and real-world feedback rather than assumptions.

  • Lifecycle Marketing Expertise: Experience building and managing lifecycle or email marketing programs, with measurable results in revenue, activation, retention, or repeat purchases.

  • Experimentation and Analytics: Solid understanding of A/B testing principles, including sample sizes, primary success metrics, and minimum detectable or practically meaningful effects. Ability to interpret results and make evidence-based decisions.

  • End-to-End Ownership: Proven ability to take initiatives from strategy and planning through execution, testing, launch, and optimization, working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and develop persuasive messaging for different audiences.

  • Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong business acumen, logical reasoning, and the ability to break down ambiguous challenges into practical, high-impact solutions.

  • Accountability and Adaptability: A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, combined with the ability to respond quickly to constructive feedback, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hybrid self-service and sales-led funnels; hands-on knowledge of CRM systems such as HubSpot or Pipedrive and email marketing platforms; experience developing prompts or knowledge bases for AI sales or support agents; and familiarity with custom manufacturing, branded merchandise, or print-on-demand businesses.

Benefits:
  • Competitive Compensation: A flexible, competitive compensation package tailored to the candidate's experience, capabilities, and expected impact.

  • Fully Remote Work: Work remotely from anywhere globally, with flexible working hours and no requirement to report to a physical office.

  • Full-Time Engagement: An exclusive, full-time independent contractor arrangement offering substantial responsibility and autonomy.

  • Direct Leadership Exposure: Work closely with executive leadership, gaining visibility into strategic decisions and opportunities for professional development.
  • Strategic Influence: Contribute directly to product development, customer experience improvements, business workflows, and company strategy.
  • Autonomy and Ownership: Take responsibility for your domain, lead initiatives end to end, and make decisions with minimal bureaucracy.
  • Growth Opportunities: Join a scaling business where you can expand your responsibilities, strengthen your expertise, and accelerate your professional growth.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Collaborate with a distributed, international team in a results-oriented environment that values initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement.
