Job summary

A global recruitment company is looking for a Metering Package Engineer in Oslo, Norway. This role involves designing, coordinating, and following up on Metering systems, with responsibility for vendor interactions and technical documentation. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Metering design, particularly in greenfield offshore oil and gas projects. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as well as a cooperative attitude in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience with PRE activities and responsibilities from greenfield projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Metering design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC.

• Technical responsible (PRE) for Metering package
• Follow-up of vendors and vendors’ technical documentation
• Ensure that vendor information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
• FAT and vendor survey
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
• Interface to other disciplines and suppliers

Qualification Requirements

• Education Bachelor degree
• Minimum 5 years’ experience from Metering design/specification in greenfield offshore oil and gas
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with PRE activities and responsibilities from greenfield projects
• Extensive knowledge of Metering design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO and IEC
• Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English – both orally and in writing
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
