Job summary

TransitPro Solutions in Svalbard, Norway, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. You will assist with receiving shipments, organizing stock, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

This part-time role offers a competitive salary of $1,100 per month, flexible hours, visa sponsorship, and a round-trip ticket. Prior experience is welcome but not required; forklift certification is a plus, and strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy for data entry and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming shipments, check for accuracy and damages.
• Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare orders by selecting items, packing securely and labeling accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts or other machinery to move items as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order processing.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment issues or discrepancies.
• Assist in regular inventory counts and cycle checks.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

• Communicate with suppliers regarding any issues or discrepancies with shipments
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid forklift certification is a plus
