Odyssey in London is seeking a VP of Research to lead the Frontier Research group, directing the exploration of world models, multimodality, and robotics. You will hire, mentor, and set bold research agendas that attract top talent to the field and to Odyssey.

You will report to the CTO, shape the roadmap, and collaborate with other leaders while maintaining a hands-on role in advancing research. Office presence 3+ days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of research experience with a strong publication record at top ML venues.
• Proven ability to lead and grow research teams, mentoring researchers at all levels.
• Ability to set a research vision that shapes a field and attracts talent.

Responsabilités

• Leading and growing the Frontier Research group, hiring, mentoring, and developing researchers.
• Owning and driving Odyssey's research agenda across world simulation and multimodality.
• Defining and communicating a vision to position Odyssey as a leading voice in world models.
• Setting the research roadmap and publication strategy, representing Odyssey externally.
• Collaborating with other VP-level leaders to advance the overall strategy.
