Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a VR/AR Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing immersive experiences using virtual and augmented reality technologies. This is a part-time position suitable for someone without prior experience, with the possibility of full-time employment in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and develop VR/AR experiences that meet project requirements
• Create 3D models and animations using Unity, Unreal Engine, or other game engines
• Implement interactive elements and user interfaces within VR/AR environments
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of VR/AR experiences
• Keep up-to-date with emerging VR/AR technologies and trends to continuously improve development processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine with experience developing for VR/AR platforms
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Maya or Blender
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C# or C++

Salary

This position offers a salary of $1100 per month.

Location

This job is based in Svalbard but remote work may be possible.
