Job summary

Outdoor Norway, based in Voss, Norway, is seeking a creative Video Editor to join a remote team. You will transform raw footage into polished content for YouTube, social media, and websites, while maintaining brand consistency and timing with music.

Collaborate with producers, marketers, and content creators to meet campaign goals. This temporary role offers 2–3 months onsite in Norway with potential to become full-time based on performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio/reel.
• Basic English communication skills (written and verbal) required.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar; Adobe Premiere used in the company.
• Basic motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects or similar) are a plus.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Access to a reliable computer setup and high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into compelling content for YouTube, social media, websites, advertisements, or internal use.
• Cut, trim, color-correct, and enhance video/audio for clarity and style.
• Add graphics, text overlays, animations, sound effects, and music as needed.
• Collaborate with creative teams, producers, and clients to understand project goals.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Ensure consistency in visual style, tone, and branding.
• Optimize video formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
• Stay current with video trends, editing techniques, and platform requirements.
