Typesetter for Print and Digital Media

As a Typesetter for Print and Digital Media, your main responsibility will be to format and arrange text, images, and other visual elements to create visually appealing documents for both print and digital media. You will work closely with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure the layout and design of our publications meet high-quality standards.

Your main duties will include setting up and adjusting page layouts, selecting appropriate fonts, adjusting spacing and leading, creating tables and charts, and ensuring consistency in design across all publications. You will also be responsible for proofreading your own work to ensure accuracy and make necessary corrections.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong eye for detail and excellent time management skills. You should also have a good understanding of typography principles and be proficient in using design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress. Experience with both print and digital media is preferred but not required.

This position is based in Oslo but can also be done remotely. As such, you must have your own computer with the necessary software installed. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $900 per month.
