Job Title: Contract Turner in Oslo, Norway. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Contract Turner to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Contract Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various turning machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain turning machines, such as lathes and milling machines, to produce components
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for each component
• Select appropriate tools and materials for each job
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy of measurements and smooth operations
• Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure timely completion of projects
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred
• 1+ years of experience operating turning machines in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of various tools, materials, and techniques used in turning
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be willing to work on a contract basis with possibility for extension
