Job summary

SalMar AS is seeking a Personnel Team Leader for the Fillet department in InnovaNor, located near Finnsnes. The role focuses on guiding managers, handling staff development, and balancing production needs with employee follow-up in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

You will work closely with HR and production managers to plan staffing across shifts, and contribute to a fair, confidential, and structured workplace culture.

Teamleder Personal - Filet, InnovaNor || Team leader Personnel - Fillet, InnovaNor

At InnovaNor, located approximately 10 minutes from Finnsnes, you will join a modern and busy processing facility with around 500 employees, high activity and a working environment characterised by collaboration, pace and a positive team spirit. Employees from more than 37 nationalities work side by side here.

We are now looking for Personnel Team Leader for the Fillet department - our largest production department. This is an important role for someone who is motivated by being close to operations, building strong relationships and helping both employees and managers succeed in their day-to-day work.

In this role, you will support and guide managers in their personnel responsibilities, while also having personnel responsibility for your own employees. You will work operationally with employee follow-up, training and cases that require additional support, clarity or coordination.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys a varied working day, a fast-paced environment and short decision-making lines. You are comfortable handling changes throughout the day and balancing production needs with strong employee follow-up.

You will be an important support for managers and employees in matters related to staffing, sickness absence, training, well-being and follow-up. The role requires clear communication, structure and the ability to handle challenging conversations in a confident, fair and confidential manner.

The position has overall responsibility for personnel planning across the shifts in the Fillet department.

As this is a newly established position, you will also have the opportunity to influence how the role develops going forward. You will work closely with HR, production managers and other support functions, and you will have a visible role in developing strong personnel follow-up in the department.

The working day will be divided between office work, meetings and presence out in production.

• Experience from a production environment, preferably from the food industry or aquaculture
• Experience with workforce planning and allocation of employees based on production needs and competence
• Structured, with strong planning and prioritisation skills
• Experience and interest in people management, HSE and employee development
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn more about, relevant laws and collective agreements
• Strong execution skills and a high level of accuracy
• Flexible and solution-oriented
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
