Job summary

A renowned subsea technology company is seeking a responsible person for operations and deck personnel in Ågotnes, Norway. This role involves ensuring all necessary personnel and equipment are in place for subsea operations while ensuring compliance with QHSE procedures. Candidates should hold a relevant trade certificate and have a minimum of 5 years offshore subsea experience. Initiative, good communication skills in both English and Norwegian, as well as familiarity with IT tools like Microsoft Office and SAP are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of offshore experience within subsea completions/re-completions.
• Experience with Workover systems, LRP systems, and BOP required.
• Strong HSSE and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operations and deck personnel including subcontractors.

Job description

What will you be?

• Act as the person responsible for OneSubsea operations and deck personnel, including offshore subcontractors
• Ensure, whenever possible, that the necessary equipment and personnel are in place well in advance of the start of operations
• Make sure that all crew members are familiar with and follow QHSE procedures, regulations, and any additional site‑specific safety requirements
• Be responsible for ensuring that all Subsea-related operational activities onboard the rig/vessel are carried out safely and professionally

• A trade certificate as an Industrial Mechanic, Subsea Installer, or similar
• A minimum of 5 years of offshore experience within subsea completions/re‑completions, Workover systems, LRP systems, and BOP
