We are looking for System Responsible Engineer

Job Description

This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stavanger and Stord Yard. Some offshore travel might be necessary, but the position is normally onshore.

  • System Responsible Engineer, onshore and offshore temporary systems responsible for engaging and performing completion and commissioning activities related to the fabrication testing, documentation preparation, and system testing of PWP topside equipment with special attention to temporary systems.
  • Ensure completion and commissioning requirements of all PWP temporary systems, meeting all Company's project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
  • Deliver temporary systems when needed.
  • Design, procure, install and maintain temporary systems in close cooperation with yard commissioning assistance, commissioning team, onshore and offshore operations.
  • Ensure point‑to‑point readiness for temporary systems needed for offshore hook‑up and commissioning with no delay.
  • Work with the field commissioning lead to plan and execute temporary interfaces between offshore installations with no surprises at the time of connection.
  • Implement the commissioning certification and handover process according to the Project Completion Strategy for relevant systems.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient handover of relevant systems to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient decommissioning of relevant systems upon completion of activities supported by temporary systems.
  • Establish and follow up PIMS.
  • Participate in discipline walkdowns.
  • Proactively engage the commissioning team regarding temporaries, ensuring needed temporaries are in place at the right time.
  • Overall responsibility for Process Systems, providing supervision, direction, and guidance.
  • Execute commissioning activities assigned by the Comm System Lead on dedicated systems.
  • Verify construction field installations are according to design, ISO, and P&ID's in collaboration with the System Lead.
  • Read and understand P&ID’s and ISO.
  • Participate in check‑out and verification (walk‑down/yellow line) according to the RFCC hand‑over process.
  • Plan and facilitate check‑out/execution of static commissioning.
  • Plan and facilitate dynamic commissioning activities.
  • Participate in meetings for planning commissioning activities.
  • Ensure good communication between operation, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Daily reporting to the Commissioning Field Lead regarding ongoing commissioning activities.
  • Liaise and align with the Commissioning Utility Lead regarding temporary supplies.
  • Update Master Dossier for P&ID red‑line mark‑up, valve and blinding list according to the System Lead’s instructions.
  • Assist with the collection of documentation related to decommissioning of temporary systems.
  • Contribute and advise on process input to overall completion strategy and planning.
  • Manage related ATS and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for Process Systems commissioning.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the Commissioning Team.
  • Witness contractor/supplier tests as necessary (FAT/SAT).
  • Develop and review relevant commissioning procedures.
  • Implement the commissioning scope.
  • Contribute to a smooth transition from project to operations.
  • Participate in MC walk‑downs.
