Job summary

EliteHire in Svalbard is seeking a skilled Formworker (part-time) to join our construction team. You will construct, assemble, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures according to specifications and project timelines.

Your role includes reading plans, using hand and power tools, installing scaffolding, pouring and finishing concrete, and upholding safety on site. Minimum 2 years of formworker experience and the ability to read blueprints are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of formworker experience.
• Ability to read construction plans and blueprints accurately.
• Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and long standing periods.
• Valid work visa for Svalbard (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans to determine formwork requirements.
• Construct formwork using wood, metal, and plastic.
• Assemble formwork components with hand and power tools.
• Install scaffolding and shoring to support formwork.
• Pour, level, and finish concrete per specs.
• Dismantle formwork after curing and clean the site.
• Inspect formwork for defects and repair as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations on site.
