Job summary

Q-Storage is seeking a Junior Surveyor for the Svalbard site to assist with land surveys, mapping, and data collection. You will work under senior surveyors and gain hands-on experience using GPS, total stations, and data collectors in challenging Arctic conditions.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Geomatics or a related field, good math skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Accommodation is provided for the contract term.

• Strong mathematical skills and accurate measurements.

• Physically fit to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors with land surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment.
• Measure and map land features such as boundaries, topography, and buildings.
• Collect data on environmental conditions, geological features, and construction sites.
• Create accurate reports and drawings based on survey data.
• Maintain surveying equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols while conducting surveys.
