Job summary

Slimstock Academy in Milan, Italy, seeks a Supply Chain Consultant to join the Consultancy team. You will manage and deliver advanced solution projects to optimize and digitalize supply chain planning processes, collaborating with Project Team Leaders and clients.

You will map processes, test interfaces with ERP/data warehouse, deliver user trainings, and support Pre-Sales in POC and pilots. Degree in engineering/CS, native Italian and advanced English, and willingness to travel are required.

Job Description

The Consultancy team is responsible for managing and delivering advanced solution projects aimed at optimizing and digitalizing supply chain planning processes. By joining our team, you will work closely with Project Team Leaders, actively participating in the implementation of solutions defined with clients. You will have the opportunity to engage with companies operating across various industrial sectors and to work with continuously evolving technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute projects in compliance with established quality standards and timelines. The consultant will actively participate in the technical implementation of Slimstock solutions.
• Analyze the interfaces required to map client processes between legacy systems (ERP, data warehouse, etc.) and the Slimstock solutions to be implemented, followed by testing and validation.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation.
• Deliver user training on implemented Slimstock applications.
• Support the Pre-Sales team in the implementation of Proof of Concept (POC), assessments, and pilot projects.
• Provide technical support to the existing customer base.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Native-level Italian and advanced English proficiency
• Degree in technical or scientific disciplines, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Basic knowledge of logistics, supply chain, demand forecasting, and inventory management
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear documentation
• Ability to work towards objectives, both independently and within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to travel independently (valid Category B driving license required)
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server is considered a plus
